Using the Cooking Zones

Cooking Zone Switches

With the cooking zone switches you

have a choice of setting the heating

capacity to 14 steps (with intermediate

settings)

1 = the lowest capacity

9 = the highest capacity

A = Automatic

P = power function

You can select intermediate settings in

the ranges 2 to 7. In the digital display

these are marked with a top left dot.

Activating the Power Function

To switch the power function on (*only provided for cooking zone 1,

front left

ø 210 mm) turn the cooking zone switch up to the stop and

then back to stage 9 and then let go. A P appears immediately in the

digital display on the glass ceramic surface. 9 is displayed in the cook-

ing stage display next to the switch.

The booster function is activated at the most for 10 minutes. Then the

cooking zone switches automatically to cooking stage 9.

The power function may not be used or is deactivated if the rear left

cooking zone Ø 145 mm is on or set to heat setting 8 to 9, since other-

wise the total heating capacity of both cooking zones together would

exceed the limit. After 3 seconds P changes to 9 in the digital display.
