When you use only one cooking zone of

the pair we recommend that you use the

rear cooking zone. Also when you use

large cookware we recommend that you

put it near to the rear cooking zone.

4.7 Automatic Heat Up

If you activate this function you can get a

necessary heat setting in a shorter time.

The function sets the highest heat setting

for some time and then decreases to the

correct heat setting.

To activate the function the

cooking zone must be cold.

To activate the function for a cooking

zone: touch

. Immediately touch the

correct heat setting. A comes on.

To deactivate the function: change the

heat setting.

4.8 Power Boost

This function makes more power

available to the induction cooking zones.

The function can be activated for the

induction cooking zone only for a limited

period of time. After this time the

induction cooking zone automatically

sets back to the highest heat setting.

Refer to “Technical

information” chapter.

To activate the function for a cooking

zone: touch

. P in the ring comes on.

As the zone gets hotter, the colour of the

ring changes.

To deactivate the function: change the

heat setting.

4.9 Power Boost of the double

ring cooking zone

The function is activated for the inner

ring when the hob senses the cookware

with a smaller diameter than the inner

ring. The function is activated for the

outer ring when the hob senses the

cookware with a bigger diameter than

the inner ring.

4.10 Timer

There are 3 functions: Automatic

Counter, Power-off timer and Minute

Minder.

Automatic Counter

You can use this function to monitor how

long the cooking zone operates. The

function starts automatically and comes

on below heat setting in the cooking

zone on the display.

To reset the function: touch

to get

the Automatic Counter . Then set the

cooking zone from the list with arrows

and touch

to confirm.

Power-off timer

You can use this function to set how long

the cooking zone should operate for a

single cooking session.

To activate the function: touch two

times to get the Power-off timer .

Then set the cooking zone from the list

with arrows and touch

to confirm. Set

the time with arrows and touch to

confirm. When the time comes to an

end, the sound operates and the

cooking zone deactivates.

To stop the sound: touch

.

Minute Minder

To activate the function when the hob

is deactivated: activate the hob with .

Touch once to get the Minute Minder

.

To activate the function when the

cooking zones operate: touch

three

times to get the Minute Minder .

To stop the sound: touch

.

The function has no effect

on the operation of the

cooking zones.

4.11 STOP+GO

This function sets all cooking zones that

operate to the lowest heat setting.
